iPhoto

i've been playing around on iPhoto on our new iMac.  it's a lot of fun, they have so many fun things you can do with your pictures.  i tagged faces in about a hundred different pictures, and then it came up with a bunch of suggested photos that people may be in. (it has some sort of facial recognition software).  so anyway.... apparently, i look like a baby, because it pulled up about a hundred pictures of my 2 year old nephew and a few pictures of millie.  maybe it's time to hit the gym and try to get rid of these chubby cheeks, ha ha!

what amazes me most is that there were way more pictures saying i looked like braxton than my own daughter, ha ha!  so i guess that everyone who says millie looks just like me is wrong!

something else that's funny... i did todd's dad, and in addition to all the pictures that it pulled up of him (it's actually fairly accurate) it pulled up a bunch of pictures of Jesus that i use for the church bulletin every week, ha ha!

in other news...

i've decided that i'm going to start entering as many online giveaways as possible!  last week, out of over 1700 entries, i won the first giveaway i've ever entered, for a Marie Osmond Quilter's Companion sewing machine (retailed at $1299!!) through You Can Make This, and yesterday i won an ebook for making Personalized Name Pillows through Mom Knows It All.  it really is simple to enter, you just follow the instructions listed on each blog post (usually you just have to leave a comment, and for extra entries you can blog about it, post it on twitter, or add a button to your blog.  i'm so excited about the things i've won, i can't wait to receive them in the mail!!
